Our Cottages
The Yellow Bird offers a variety of accommodations designed for the individual needs of our guests. Certainly the most popular are our five cottages. Each cottage consists of two bedrooms, each with two double beds and a private bathroom. The bedrooms are connected by a spacious living/dining with a full kitchen. Four of the five cottages are beach front with the remaining cottage recessed back a bit to ensure privacy. Our cottages have all been redone with new floors, furniture and fresh paint.

Our Rooms
For couples and single occupancy, we have five hotel style rooms available. These include two double beds, a refrigerator and a private bathroom. Guests staying in these rooms have 24 hour access to the main kitchen if they so desire.

For the strictly budget traveller, we have seven sleeping rooms available. They are very similar to the hotel style rooms except they do not have private bathrooms. All seven sleeping rooms share three common bathrooms.

Extra Information

• Breakfast is served every morning from 7 AM till 10 AM and is served at tables in the middle of the yard. Toast and coffee are complimentary, while a variety of breakfast choices are available upon request. They are cooked to order at a small surcharge.
• Cable TV, Movies and DVD players available.
• WiFi
• Air-conditioning is usually not needed but may be added for $10.00 per room.
• All room charges will incur a government tax.
• All room charges are for 2 people. There is a $20 charge for each additional guest over the age of 12.
• The Yellow Bird is a private resort with gated access to the road.
• We provide a full housekeeping staff, and there is security on property during the day, and guards on during the night.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received 30 days in advance of the arrival dates are given a full refund. Cancellations 15 to 29 days in advance of arrival date are subject to one night rate and less that 15 days in advance of arrival date are subject to two nights.

  • High season, $240 for 4 people
  • Low season, $150 for 4 people
• Half Cottages with one bedroom and full bath
  • High season $130 for 2 people
  • Low season, $80 for 2 people
• Motel Rooms with 2 double beds and full bath
• High season $110 for 2 people
• Low season, $70 for 2 people
• Sleeping Rooms will share one of three bathrooms
• High season $60 for 2 people
• Low season, $50 for 2 people

High season: December 15th - April 15th
Low season: April 16th - December 14th

Cable TV and air-conditioning are optional for a fee.
Rooms are $50 and up for 2 persons. $20.00 each for each subsequent person. Children under 12 are free with paid adult in the room.
